IES mobilized two operations
crews to our nation's capitol to join in the anthrax decontamination effort.
Working in close cooperation with a multi-region Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) task force, the company was called upon to lend technical
expertise in protocol development and assistance in implementing decontamination
operations. IES was also heavily involved in training other on-site contractors
in decontamination procedures and protocol. The EPA selected IES to conduct
primary decontamination efforts in Senator Daschle's office.
